BRENT MCFARLENE TRACK CLUB
Xtreme Acceleration is proud to announce the Brent McFarlene Track Club in the Washington, DC area. This track club is designed to engage local competitive track and field athletes and help them achieve all of their athletic goals. Our track club has been established in honor of Brent McFarlene, one of the leading sports performance scientists in the world. Xtreme Acceleration has the privilege of working along side Brent McFarlene, the co-founder and creator of within the Speed Agility Conditioning (SAC) Canada/USA.
- Brent McFarlene is an honors graduate in Kinesiology and Science from the University of Waterloo.
- As an athlete he competed in sprints and middle distance events. It is as a coach and educator that he has made his mark on the sport around the world.
- For three decades he has studied and visited over 50 countries, written extensively and conducted clinics and workshops throughout the world.
- Brent McFarlene was Canada's Head Track and Field Coach for the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games having been on 33 Canadian National teams himself.
- In 2002 Brent was inducted into the University of Waterloo Athletic Hall of Fame.
